Channel [V] has announced its list of nominees for the revered [V] Oz Artist Award! 50 nominees representative of the cream of the Australian music crop have been chosen for the award, which is now in its 17th year. The list of artists celebrates the wide and diverse nature of the Australian music industry at the minute and is indicative of just how fruitful 2013 has been for our well-established, as well as our up and comers. 5 Seconds of Summer, winners of the Wildcard Entry, won the spot voted by the viewer, joining the ranks of some V Music 'veterans' and some of the hottest new names to storm the charts. As with each year, artists who are low on votes will be eliminated and the viewer will have until 8pm each night to save their favourites, starting from October 8.
You can vote through www.vmusic.com.au and be put in to the draw to win $10,000! The winner of the Oz Artist Award will be announced on Saturday, December 7.
