It's been a while since we've seen The Rubens on the road, with the band working hard on the follow up album to what was an acclaimed debut. The new album, Hoops, has already spawned the great track "Hallelujah" and today, The Rubens have announced that they'll be touring the new record as well as fave cuts from their self-titled debut - it's not a small east coast jaunt, either. The Australian tour will see The Rubens play 22 dates around the country through September, October and November, no doubt going to level up with their last national tour which saw the band sell out three shows at The Forum in Melbourne and two gigs at Sydney's Enmore Theatre. ...No big.
What's more exciting is that The Rubens are going to be joined at the shows by Saskwatch and Winterborne - two of our favourite Australian bands! It's going to be a strong bill of artists, so we'd definitely advise y'all to get your tickets as soon as they go on sale Wednesday, June 17th (9am). You're in for a treat.
